One proposed line of inquiry asks how evolutionary descriptions of competition and adaptation relate to medicine's ethical duty of care. IMPPB treats this as a productive tension to investigate, not as an established scientific paradox or a settled account of evolutionary biology.
The prototype creates room for formal, empirical, critical, contemplative, and integrative work: philosophy can clarify concepts, biology can test claims, and first-person methods can be examined alongside clinical and third-person evidence.
Wellthspan is a state-level Maryland nonprofit pursuing an exploratory research program around wisdom, memory, and biological life. Ideas such as a proposed language of wisdom and memory-related cognitive oscillations are research hypotheses, not established clinical findings.
IMPPB is a prototype educational expression of that program. It is not an accredited institution, a medical provider, or a substitute for peer review. Participation is imagined around demonstrated reasoning rather than status, while evidence standards remain essential.
The hexagonal interface is a conceptual navigation device. A back-of-the-envelope comparison in the founding notes assumes average graph distance scales as √N on a grid and log₂(N) on an idealized recursive graph. At N = 1,000, √1,000 ÷ log₂(1,000) ≈ 3.17. This is an illustrative ratio under assumed scaling laws—not a measured connectivity gain, fabrication result, or quantum-computing benchmark.
Published research on hyperbolic quantum codes is a related source of inspiration, but it does not validate this interface, the assumed ratio, or a specific hardware architecture. The design borrows the more modest idea that non-flat and recursive structures can expose useful relationships that a simple list may hide.
Here, “fractal” is therefore a design hypothesis: related questions recur at multiple scales, and overloaded spaces can be subdivided in a moderator simulation. A future shared forum would need user research, transparent governance, moderation policy, and empirical evaluation before claiming that this structure improves knowledge production.
Each of the six sectors — Philosophy, Meditation, Medicine, Biology, Physics, Education — contains nine triangular spaces. The layers describe different functions, not a hierarchy of intellectual value.
Optional AI feedback is framed as Substance, Originality, and Fit, composited as a geometric mean. It is a prototype aid, not peer review, moderation, or a judgment of a person.
